Actor Prakash Raj on Saturday criticized Pawan Kalyan through Twitter and accused him of imposing the Hindi language on others. In his tweet, Prakash Raj wrote, "We have the right to preserve our mother tongue and cultural identity with self-respect. Please explain to someone Pawan Kalyan Garu, do not impose your Hindi language on us. It is not a matter of hating any other language, but it is a matter of protecting our self-respect and our culture."

This statement of Prakash Raj comes after Pawan Kalyan's recent speech, which he gave at the 12th foundation day celebrations of the Jana Sena Party in Pithampuram, Kakinada. Pawan Kalyan during this criticized the leaders of Tamil Nadu and questioned their opposition to Hindi. He said, "I don't understand why Tamil Nadu leaders oppose Hindi, when they earn money from Bollywood by getting their films dubbed in Hindi. They reject Hindi, but want money. What is the logic?"
