Maharashtra Cyber Cell today, Monday, has once again sent a summon to comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina related to his show 'India's Got Latent'. This summon has been sent to Samay Raina to record his statement regarding objectionable comments and obscene content in his show. Samay has been asked to record his statement on March 19.
According to news agency ANI, "Samay Raina was summoned on Monday, March 17 to record his statement regarding objectionable comments and obscene content in the show 'India's Got Latent', but Samay did not appear before the Cyber Cell. After this, the Cyber Cell has sent a second summon to Samay."
On the show, YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia came on Samay Raina's show and made extremely objectionable and obscene comments about his parents and family. There was a huge uproar over this and Ranveer was severely criticized. Along with this, a complaint was filed against many people including Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahabadia and Apoorva Mukhija.
Earlier also Samay Raina was called to give a statement related to this show, but he was abroad. Samay had requested to record his statement through video call, but the cyber cell rejected his demand and ordered him to appear in person. Now it remains to be seen whether Samay Raina appears before the cyber cell on March 19 or not, and what further action is taken in this matter.
