R Madhavan, Chiranjeevi, and other actors welcome Sunita Williams back to earth after 9 months in space

American astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have returned safely to Earth. Both of them spent about nine months in space. These astronauts were stranded in space since June 2024 and faced many challenges, but eventually their spacecraft landed safely on the coast of Florida. Many Bollywood stars have expressed happiness over the safe return of Sunita Williams.

South Indian cinema megastar Chiranjeevi wrote on Instagram, 'Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, welcome back to Earth. This is a historic homecoming. You guys went for 8 days, but it took 286 days. Your story is amazing.'

Actor Ravi Kishan called Sunita Williams the daughter of India. In a video, he is seen saying, 'Welcome, daughter of India, who is the pride of India. It feels great to see her back. It is a matter of pride for the whole of India and NASA. Children who are studying about space will learn a lot.'

Actor R Madhavan wrote, 'Sunita Williams, welcome to Earth. Our prayers have been answered. It's nice to see you smiling.' Jackie Shroff wrote, 'Staying in space for nine months is a matter of patience.' Actress Manushi Chillar wrote, 'Such moments remind us of humanity.' Similarly, actor Sonu Sood shared a picture of Sunita Williams on his Insta story and wrote, 'Welcome back hero.'

Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore's spacecraft has landed safely on Earth. According to Indian time, this landing took place on Wednesday morning. This news is being celebrated all over the world. Former US Navy captain, 59-year-old Sunita Williams was born on 19 September 1965 in Euclid, Ohio. Her father Deepak Pandya is from Gujarat.
