Chiranjeevi condemns paid fan meetings in UK, Promises refund for fees charged

Recently, actor Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the British government. After this honour, the megastar strongly condemned illegal and fee-charging fan meetings in the UK and warned his fans to avoid exploitation. The actor wrote on his official Twitter account that he never supports paid fan meetings.

On Thursday, the actor revealed that some people are allegedly charging him to meet him. On this, he said in his post that if any fee has been charged by any person, it will be refunded immediately.

Chiranjeevi expressed gratitude for the love of his fans, but also clarified that the relationship between him and his fans should not be commercial. The actor said, "My dear fans, I am very happy to see the love and affection of all of you in the UK and I am touched to know that you want to meet me. But I have been informed that some people are charging for fan meetings. I strongly condemn this behavior. If anyone has charged, it will be refunded immediately. Please be cautious and know that I will never, anywhere support these activities." Chiranjeevi further said, "The bond of love and affection between us is priceless. It cannot be commercialized in any way. Let us keep our meetings real and free from exploitation."

The controversy over paid fan meetings came to the fore when Chiranjeevi made history by receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the British government. The honor was given to him at a prestigious ceremony at the House of Commons of the UK Parliament in London on March 19, which was also attended by Labour Party MPs Navendu Mishra, Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman. After this honour, Chiranjeevi shared an emotional post on social media and expressed gratitude for this international honour.
