Pawan Kalyan has maintained his focus on films even after entering politics. However, now he is less active in cinema than before, due to which many of his films are constantly getting delayed. Ever since Pawan Kalyan became the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, his fans have worried about how he will complete his unfinished film projects. His film Ustad Bhagat Singh, which was announced in 2022, was hanging in the balance for a long time.
Recently, news of the closure of this film also came to the fore. But now producer Ravishankar of Mythri Movie Makers has dismissed these rumors. Recently he talked about his big line-up of films coming in 2026. He revealed that he has Jr NTR's film with Prashanth Neel, Ram Charan's Peddi with Buchi Babu Sana, Prabhas' film with Hanu Raghavapudi, Rishab Shetty Jai Hanuman with Prashanth Varma and Vijay Deverakonda's film with Rahul Sankrityan.
When asked about Pawan Kalyan's film, Ravishankar said, "Kalyan garu's film will be released next year. The craze his films have is different from any pan-India film. Harish Shankar garu has finalized the script and it is fantastic. Now we are just waiting for Kalyan garu's dates. We will complete it this year and release it next year at any cost." After this statement, fans were relieved that the film was not shelved.
Ustad Bhagat Singh is the Telugu remake of the 2016 Vijay starrer Theri directed by famous director Atlee. The film recently had a Hindi remake Baby John. Harish Shankar has re-imagined many films in his career, including Dabangg, Jigarthanda and Raid. Pawan Kalyan also has films like Hari Hara Veera Mallu and They Call Him OG, which are being directed by Krish-Jyothi Krishna and Sujeeth respectively. The actor first started shooting for HHVM, but the shooting of the rest of the films is yet to be completed.
