During an interview, he told a shocking anecdote related to superstar Raj Kumar. Raza Murad told that once Raj Kumar beat up a person so badly on Juhu beach that he died.

Actually, this incident happened when Raj Kumar was on Juhu beach with a friend and his female friend. Then a man made an indecent comment on that woman. On hearing this, Raj Kumar's anger reached the seventh sky and he started beating that person badly. According to Raza Murad, the beating was so severe that the person could not survive and he died.

After this, a murder case was registered against Raj Kumar. Raza Murad told that his father and Raj Kumar were very good friends, so he used to go to support him in every court hearing. Raj Kumar had to fight a long legal battle in this case, but was later acquitted.

Talking about Raj Kumar's personality, Raza Murad said that he was a person who lived life on his own terms. He was a Kashmiri Pandit and was working as a police sub-inspector before coming into films. After this he entered the film world and became a big star. In his career, he worked in more than 70 films. He died in 1996, but he is still remembered for his powerful voice and brilliant acting.
