Neil Nitin Mukesh speaks out on nepotism in Bollywood, Says it's over-glorified

Nepotism is an issue in Bollywood which is often discussed. Recently, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh expressed his opinion on this issue and said that nepotism is glorified too much in the industry. He also said that if nepotism had any real benefit, he would have been somewhere else today.

While talking to ANI, Neil Nitin Mukesh shared his views on this subject. The actor said, "If nepotism had any benefit, I would have been somewhere else today." He further says, "Nepotism is glorified more in our field, because whatever we do is in the eyes of everyone. If a doctor's son becomes a doctor, then he can also be called a child of nepotism." Neil Nitin Mukesh also spoke about his daughter and said that if his daughter wants to grow up and become an actress, writer or filmmaker, he can only teach her but cannot hand it over to her as a trade. He can just hope that someone takes his legacy forward.

The actor also said that he is Mukesh ji's grandson and Nitin Mukesh's son, and he is the third generation artist who is carrying forward his name. However, he also said that even though his grandfather and father were associated with this profession, he has had to struggle a lot from one film to another. Neil said that being the son of a star adds even more pressure as he is always compared to his father. He admits that despite coming from a star family, he has had to make his own identity at every step.

Neil Nitin Mukesh has worked in films like 'Johnny Gaddar', 'New York', and 'Jail'. He is the son of famous singer Nitin Mukesh and grandson of singer Mukesh. Recently his film 'Hisab Barabar' was released on OTT, in which R. Madhavan was also in the lead role. It was a drama film, which was receiving good response from the audience.
