Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana's wife and writer-director Tahira Kashyap is once again in the headlines. Tahira recently informed through social media that after seven years, cancer has once again knocked on her life. But even in this difficult time, Tahira is not only facing it with courage, but is also sharing her experiences with a smile.
Tahira shared some interesting and emotional incidents that happened in the hospital in an Instagram post. She said that when she was getting ready for the scan and imaging, the doctor played the title song of Shahrukh Khan's film 'Kal Ho Na Ho' in the background to lighten the atmosphere. Even though this song is emotional, Tahira found it a bit strange at that moment. She laughingly told the doctor, "Sir, the feeling is good, but stop this song now." She shared another funny incident from the operation theater. When she was being given anesthesia before making her unconscious, the doctor asked which song she wanted to listen to. Tahira saw that the operation tools were arranged nearby. At that time, only one song was echoing in her mind – “Chhuri-Katariyan tej kara lo.”
Tahira also shared another incident after the surgery. The doctor advised her to take a walk in the corridor of the hospital. Then she saw that a 70-year-old woman, who was listening to the gossip of an actor's love life with great interest a while ago, walked ahead of her with rapid steps. Tahira jokingly wrote that the woman was saying, “If these people can do so much, then why can't I!”
On April 7, Tahira was informed that cancer had returned again. She was diagnosed with breast cancer for the first time in the year 2018 and even then she faced it with courage and positive thinking. This time too, Tahira is ready to fight cancer with full strength. His post has garnered praise and blessings from people on social media for his spirit.
