The police have traced the youth who threatened to kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan from Vadodara district of Gujarat. On Tuesday, the police said that this 26-year-old youth is mentally unstable and is undergoing treatment.

Also, security arrangements were tightened outside Salman's house Galaxy Apartment in Bandra.

Initial investigation by Mumbai Police revealed that this threat was sent by a youth living in Waghodia taluka of Vadodara. Vadodara SP Rohan Anand said that on Monday a team of Mumbai Police reached the youth's house along with Waghodia police. Investigation revealed that the youth is mentally ill and is undergoing treatment. The police issued a notice to the youth to come to Mumbai for questioning and the team returned.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Salman Khan has received death threats. In April last year, two unidentified bike riders fired four bullets outside his house in Bandra. Apart from this, Salman was also threatened several times by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. There was a demand to apologize to the Bishnoi community, as Salman was accused of hunting a black buck in 1998. In view of all these incidents, Mumbai Police provided Y-plus category security to Salman. Talking about the work front, recently Salman Khan's film 'Sikandar' has been released, in which Rashmika Mandana is also seen with him.
