Over the years, Arjun Kapoor has crafted an illustrious filmography boasting multiple memorable characters. However, did you know that the 'Gunday' actor has his heart in the process of filmmaking more than acting? In a recent interview, Arjun revealed that he has always wanted to be a filmmaker because of the joy and curiosity behind the process of filmmaking.
He shared, "I started primarily because I wanted to be a filmmaker. When I was growing up, I was quite interested about films and would often go on sets. I saw my father making Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. If you ever go into history and see the kind of scale that film had and the kind of film it was. It was the most expensive film in Hindi cinema at that point. After you visit such sets, you get enamoured by it, and the joy of filmmaking seems amazing. So I started watching films, and my interest grew over time as a filmmaker/creative artist."
"I was always inclined towards the making. It's fun to act, but it's curious to know the 'why' behind a director's vision and DOP's way of lighting, the nitty-gritties behind editing, colours, the grey and the texture of the film. So I get tremendous joy from the entire process," he added.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor recently showcased his acting dynamics by playing a menacing villain in Singham Again, and soon after that, he left everyone laughing their hearts out with a lighthearted performance in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. Now, he is looking forward to star in the sequel of the classic comedy flick No Entry. The netizens are not only waiting for an official announcement of the film, but are also eager to watch Arjun Kapoor's acting mettle in the same.
