After the grand success of 'Kesari' released in 2019, now the makers are ready with another blockbuster - 'Kesari Chapter 2'. The film is going to hit the theatres on 18 April 2025 i.e. tomorrow and according to ground reports, this time too the same enthusiasm and goosebumps are guaranteed, which the audience felt in the first film.

The story of 'Kesari Chapter 2' is based on the events after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the historic judicial battle of Sir Chettur Shankaran Nair. The film brings forth an untold chapter of the Indian freedom struggle, connecting deep emotions to the audience. This is the reason why the trailer and teaser had already created curiosity among the audience.

'Kesari Chapter 2' has received an 'A' certificate, making it a serious and thought-provoking film. Though it is different from the traditional masala films, its depth and message make it special. Advance booking of the film has started and there is a lot of excitement especially in the metro cities. At many places, tickets for special screenings were sold out in a matter of minutes.

The film stars Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. For the first time, Ananya has been a part of a period drama and her acting is already in the news. The film is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective.
