Recently, well-known actress Sai Tamhankar, who was seen in the film Ground Zero With Emraan Hashmi, apart from her acting, spoke openly about her personal life, betrayal in relationships and those emotional aspects, which often deeply affect romantic relationships.

In a conversation with Hauterfly, Sai, referring to a relationship from her past, said, “Yes, I have also been cheated on. And that too at a very young age. I think I have had very bad relationships in the early stages of my life. But I have learned a lot from them.” Talking about the complexity of relationships, she also said, “I think it seems a little unnatural to live with the same person for the whole life. But if someone cheats, then he should have enough courage to come out and tell his partner the truth – 'Yes, I have done this.' Then both of you should move forward together.”

On the trend of raising old issues again in fights, Sai said, “A girl should not do this every time in a fight… but girls do. I have done it myself, so I am saying that this should not happen.” On the fear of cheating in a committed relationship and the anxiety associated with it, Sai says, “When a relationship is formed, even then that anxiety or fear remains alive somewhere. But in reality there is no distance.”

It is worth noting that Sai Tamhankar got married to visual effects artist Amey Gosavi on 15 December 2013. However, this relationship did not last long and in 2015, both of them got divorced by mutual consent. But the reason for their separation has not been made public till date.
