Kesari Chapter 2' shines overseas: Clocks $2.70 Million in week 1, North America and Australia lead the way

'Kesari Chapter 2' has made its presence felt not only in India but also in the international markets. The film has performed brilliantly at the foreign box office in its opening week itself, earning $2.70 million (about Rs 23.06 crore). Especially in North America and Australia, the film is getting tremendous love from the audience, due to which these have emerged as the top performing territories.

'Kesari Chapter 2' has brought that chapter of the Indian freedom struggle to the big screen, which had got very little space in the history books till now. The events after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the historic legal struggle of Sir Chettur Shankaran Nair have been shown in a very impressive manner.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, this film has been produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective. Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, Ananya Pandey and Amit Sial have given brilliant performances in the film. Akshay Kumar's acting is being praised on social media and it is being described as one of the best performances of his career. The film is even being considered worthy of a National Award.

The strong content and brilliant performances of 'Kesari Chapter 2' are taking it towards a huge success not only in India but also internationally. The film crossed the 50 cr mark on the Indian box office and is expected to increase further in the coming days.
