‘Kesari Chapter 2’ soars with ₹7.20 Cr on second saturday, Total collection reaches ₹57.79 Cr

Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari Chapter 2' has proven its strength at the box office. The power of content was once again evident as the film recorded a whopping 80% jump on its second Saturday. The film collected 7.20 crore on Saturday, which is equal to its opening day collections - a rare feat in itself. With this, the film's total collection has now reached 57.79 crore and now an even stronger performance is expected on Sunday.

'Kesari Chapter 2' has brought to the big screen a chapter of the Indian freedom struggle that did not find much space in history books. The film presents the events after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and the historic legal battle of Sir Chettur Shankaran Nair in a very impressive manner.

Akshay Kumar's acting in particular is being praised on social media and it is being described as one of the best performances of his career. Fans are also considering it worthy of a National Award. Thanks to a strong story and powerful performances, 'Kesari Chapter 2' is moving towards great success not only in India but also internationally. 

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective. Along with Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, Ananya Panday and Amit Sial have also performed brilliantly in the film.
