Elvish Yadav moves High Court in snake venom and drugs case, Challenges FIR and chargesheet

Famous YouTuber and content creator Elvish Yadav is currently surrounded by serious allegations of alleged misuse of snake venom and drugs. Under these allegations, it has been claimed that Elvish used live snakes in his videos and allegedly invited foreign nationals to rave parties and gave them snake venom and other intoxicants for consumption. Under the FIR registered in this case, Elvish has now knocked the door of Allahabad High Court and challenged the chargesheet and proceedings filed against him.

On behalf of Elvish Yadav, it has been argued in the court that the person who filed a complaint against him is no longer an authorized animal welfare officer, yet he got the FIR registered by calling himself an officer. It was also said that the person was not competent to register an FIR under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

Elvish also says that neither any snake nor any narcotic substance has been recovered from him. Apart from this, any direct connection between Elvish and other co-accused could not be proved by the police.

The petition also mentioned that Elvish is a popular social media personality and has participated in many TV reality shows. Due to his popularity, the media gave a lot of publicity to this case, due to which the police came under pressure and added serious charges like section 27 and 27A of the NDPS Act. However, due to not being able to prove these charges later, the police had to remove them. Now this case is pending in the High Court, where Elvish Yadav has questioned the process of law and called the allegations against him baseless.
