Ajay Devgn's much-awaited film Raid 2 is now all set for release and the film is going to hit the theaters on May 1. The film's star cast is busy promoting these days. Meanwhile, news has come that the censor board has used its scissors on the film. However, the film has got approval from the censor board and it has also been issued a certificate.
According to Bollywood Hungama's report, the Central Board of Film Certification has not cut any scene in Raid 2. That is, the audience will get to see plenty of action scenes. However, one dialogue of Ajay Devgan was found objectionable by the censor board, which has been removed from the film. This dialogue comes at the beginning of the film and its duration was about eight seconds. The dialogue contained words like money, power and weapons, which the censor board has ordered to be removed.
Apart from this, the word Railway Minister used in the film has also been removed and directed to use the word Bada Mantri in its place. These changes have been made keeping in mind the sensitivity of the language. The film has received a UA certificate from the censor board, which means that children can watch it under the supervision of parents. The total duration of the film is two hours, thirty minutes and fifty-three seconds. Raid 2 received the censor certificate in March.
Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, the film stars Ajay Devgan along with actors like Ritesh Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Amit Sial and Supriya Pathak in lead roles. Now it remains to be seen how deeply this film reaches the hearts of the audience.
