Bhumi Pednekar, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tahira Kashyap root for Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak at its special screening

As Deepika Padukone's and Vikrant Massey's Chhapaak is inching closer to its release date, the makers of the film hosted a special screening for their industry friends and families. Cheering for this Meghna Gulzar directorial that draws inspiration from Laxmi Agarwal, celebrities turned out in huge numbers at the screening on Wednesday. In attendance were Bhumi Pednekar, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tahira Kashyap.

Bhumi, for the screening, opted for a black skirt and red tee. With her hair done into soft waves, the actress was ready to dazzle.

Siddhant, who will be working with Deepika on Shakun Batra's next, made a cheerful appearance at the screening. Dressed in casuals, the actor looked handsome.

Tahira opted for a pastel kurti teamed with multi-coloured dupatta. Posing for the cameras, Tahira was all smiles.

Anurag Kashyap, Manish Malhotra, Gulshan Devaiah, Yami Gautam along with her sister Surilie Gautam cheered for Chhapaak at the screening.

Huma Qureshi with beau Mudassar Aziz, Richa Chadha with Ali Fazal and Kabir Khan-Mini Mathur joined other celebrities too.

Sharmin Segal, Abhimanyu Dassani, Jackky Bhagnani, Kunal Kapoor and Radhika Madan were also clicked at the screening.

Shankar Mahadevan with his family marked his presence. Javed Akhtar, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Alvira Agnihotri were at the event.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, Deepika’s KA Production, Meghna and Govind Singh Sandhu’s Mriga Films, written by Atika Chohan and Meghna, Chhapaak is a tale of an acid attack survivor who battles against the social evildoers. The film is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020.
