On Tuesday, the highly prestigious and most sought after fashion week, the Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2020 commenced on a spectacular note. Like every year, fashion enthusiasts were waiting with bated breath for the Summer Resort to begin and staying true to the expectation, the Lakme Fashion Week proved to be a fest for all. With the latest trends displayed on the ramp, the evening was filled with glamour.

Starting the Lakme Fashion Week with a band, Reliance Trends gave a glimpse into their collection by making Janhvi Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal their showstoppers. 

Janhvi and Vicky, who will be sharing the screen space for the first time in Karan Johar directed and produced Takht next year, wowed all with their unparalleled chemistry.

Looking into each other's eyes with a dazzling smile, Vicky and Janhvi made it difficult for the spectators to not fall in love with them.

For the opening ceremony, Janhvi walked the ramp.

The actress who will be seen in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl in March, wore a Rahul Mishra outfit. The attire, which was home to some intricate and delicate looking work in shades of pastel blue and other darker hues, made Janhvi look like a million bucks. 

She teamed her attire, which seemed to be inspired by the natural marine surroundings and flora-fauna, with a simple neckpiece. 

Janhvi did her hair into soft curls and went for a radiant glam as she walked the ramp with sheer grace.

Vicky, on the other hand, was handsome beyond words.

The actor, who is gearing up for the release of Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship releasing on February 21, 2020, was dapper in a Kunal Rawal number in black.

Vicky wore a bandhgala kurta and teamed it with black pants and jacket.
