Amidst all the protests and controversies Padmavati is facing, actors Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor left no stone unturned to enjoy one eventful stressfree night. The Style and Glamour Awards 2017 saw it's fair share of high end fashion and elegance and Deepika was right at the peak of it. She wore a red gown by Gauri and Nainika and long statement silver earrings. She donned a slick back hairstyle that cascaded down her bare back and bold red lips.

In all her royal glory, the Padmavati actress looked like a queen and she was here to stay.

Her co-star Shahid Kapoor also looked every inch just as handsome in a grey pantsuit and black shirt. However, he added a hint of playfulness with his Dolce & Gabbana 'king' sneakers that stood out the most.

In all the hustle and bustle there was, however, one cast member missing... The Bajirao Mastani actor whose presence was expected was nowhere to be found.

It was later in the day, after the Award ceremony that Ranveer Singh was spotted leaving Zoya Akhtar's house along with co-star Deepika Padukone.

Although the actor missed the award ceremony, his style over the time hadn't gone unnoticed. When asked who the stylish actor is, according to Karan Johar, "Ranveer Singh, I think he is the stylish actor. He is really funky and experimental ,which is really rare." TV actress Surveen Chawla also expressed her opinion on Ranveer being deserving of winning the #Glamour&Style Trophy, "Ranveer. I think he is so unapologetic & the immense amount of comfort he has to carry anything with anything is something very inspiring. He puts anything together & it just works. It’s the brilliance of this guy."
