Ranveer Singh wins Entertainment Leader of the Year award

Ranveer Singh is seen here rejoicing after winning the Entertainment Leader of the Year award at the 13th edition of the CNBC India Business Leadership Awards ceremony.

A thrilled Ranveer said at the event about his enthusiasm, "The lovely lady in red was telling me that if we can bottle my energy and market it, we will be Billionaires." When asked if he wanted to make more money he replied, "I want the industry to make more money."

He also spoke of his film Gully Boy, where he plays the role of a street rapper. Ranveer mentioned he is excited for the film, which also features the lovely Alia Bhatt.

While Ranveer is all for experimenting he was asked if there is that one thing that he would never wear. He replied saying that he would never do cross-dressing as that is a bit too extreme. However when he was reminded that he had worn a skirt to an award show, he said, “Yeah but...That’s like a man’s skirt.”
