Ranbir said about Deepika, "She is amazingly talented and beautiful. I have done films with her, reality shows with her. This is a different medium. She is a professional at it. I am excited."

Both the actors were due to take spotlight at the fashion event earlier this month. However, the event was postponed to Thursday.

Malhotra is showcasing the variations of Chikankari along with elegant embroidery techniques with the 'Mijwan Summer 2018' line.

Shabana Azmi, who has been getting the show together, spoke to Peeping Moon. She said, “I think it is going to be a very very special evening. It is our 9th year since we started working with Manish, but it seems like only yesterday. The journey has been like a roller coaster.”
