The Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards 2018 which was held last night saw Bollywood celebrities pouring. The award ceremony which recognizes the stars and their contribution to the industry awarded many for their excellent performance in blockbuster movies.

Shahid Kapoor who was awarded Best Actor (Male) for his role in Padmaavat looked stunning in an all-black ensemble. Outstanding performance male awardees, Rajkummar Rao and Rana Daggubati were also present at the ceremony.

Kartik Aaryan received the Entertainer of the Year award for his role in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

While Aahana Kumra bagged the award Promising Face of the Year, Aditi Rao Hydari won the Best Actress (Critics) award.

Tamannaah Bhatia and Kriti Sanon both won the awards for Outstanding Performance by a female.

Tusshar Kapoor won an award for the Best Comic Role and Ashwini Iyer Tiwari won the Best Director award for her film, Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Karan Johar bagged an award for 'Best Talk Show Host' and Shilpa Shetty won the Best Reality Show Judge award for Super Dancer 2. The Entertaining Performance in a Reality Show Award was won by Hina Khan.

Simi Garewal was the recepient of the Lifetime achievement award.
