Legendary actor Raj Kapoor's wife Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away in the wee hours on October 2 due to cardiac arrest and old age and the Kapoor family held her prayer meet today in Mumbai. Many people from the industry attended it and in appearance were Anil Kapoor, Sunita Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, and Nirmal Kapoor.

Anil's family is very close friends with the Kapoors and they have always stood up for each other. When the news of Krishna Ji's sudden demise broke Anil and Sunita were amongst the first few people who arrived for her last rites.
