The iconic Prithvi theatre in the Juhu area of Mumbai celebrates its 40th year tonight. The place has been a home to many aspiring artists and is a memory of the late legendary Prithviraj Kapoor who has contributed immensely to the Hindi Theatre and Film Industry. Prithvi Theatre, which is one of the city's most prominent spots, was built by Shashi Kapoor and his wife Kapoor in the loving memory of Prithviraj Kapoor.

Spotted at the red carpet of this festival were popular Bollywood celebs like director Shaad Ali, Lillete Dubey with her daughter Ira Dubey, the eternally gorgeous Dia Mirza, actress Suchitra Pillai Malik and Nivedita Bhattacharya. Check out their pictures here:
