Barely a day after it was conjectured that Uri: The Surgical Strike star Vicky Kaushal and Beyond The Clouds actress Malavika Mohanan were indeed a couple, it has come to light that this isn't TRUE. An insider exclusively informed PeepingMoon.com and said, "Vicky and Malavika are childhood friends. Their respective fathers, Sham Kaushal and K U Mohanan are both Hindi cinema technicians who have known each other for decades. Naturally, their families are also well-acquainted with each other.''
Our source added, " Actually, Malavika reportedly ties a rakhi to Vicky.''

OMG, guess if this is the real thing, then all the stories of their dating should fly out of the window. One hears Malavika and Vicky are friends who hang out with each other and even like each other's company. But the 'dating' angle is incorrect. After he broke up with steady-girl Harleen Sethi, Vicky's name has cropped in conversations linking him to Katrina Kaif and Bhumi Pednekar.
While it is true that Vicky seems like one helluva of a popular guy, his dating the attractive Malavika in whose home he enjoys South-Indian fare could be a bit too far-fetched.
