Isabelle Kaif, Katrina Kaif’s younger sister, was all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi in Remo D’Souza’s Time to Dance. According to PeepingMoon.com sources, however, the dance-drama has, unfortunately, run into trouble and the producer is most unhappy.
Actually, Isabelle and Sooraj (who is returning to the screen after his flop debut Hero in 2015) have reportedly done well. It is Stanley D’Costa, who is making his directorial debut with Time to Dance, who has earned the producer’s displeasure. This after Isabelle and Sooraj underwent rigorous training before kick-starting the filming in June 2018 in London. It was to be completed in three months and released by the year-end. But sadly, the film is said to be lying in the cans with no clarity on its release.

A source close to the development said the producer is unhappy with the way the film has shaped up. Stanley has apparently failed in showcasing the story correctly. So they reshot a massive chunk in London early this year. But that too hasn’t satisfied the producer. The editing team is now working on saving the film somehow. If need be some portions will again be reshot.
Time to Dance has a love story woven into it. The film explores as many as 14 dance forms ranging from street-style, Bachata to contemporary, Latin, House among many others. Sooraj plays a street dancer while Isabelle is a ballroom dancer. The film has eight songs with each track created to explore a different dance style.

The script was reportedly great on paper and it could have been the biggest dance film coming from India. The source said Isabelle has done a terrific job and her chemistry with Sooraj is something to watch out for. The songs have been shot beautifully too, but the film hasn’t panned out well. Fan fame Waluscha De Sousa has a pivotal role in the film along with Saqib Saleem who plays a lawyer in a special appearance.
