For some strange reason everybody but his parents Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan believes that Aryan Khan, who is 21, is ready to make his debut as an actor in films. And if it’s not happening soon in Bollywood, as people again believe, then Aryan will definitely go South.
Yes, that’s the rumour furiously doing the rounds these days. That Aryan has been offered a big role in the film Hiranyakashipu that promises to be the next Southern marvel after the Baahubali franchise. It is being helmed by award-winning Telugu director Gunasekhar and will co-star Prabas and Rana Daggubati. The female lead roles will be played by Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty.
The rumour gained currency after Aryan, like his father, lent his voice for the Hindi version of the animated Hollywood film Simba. His voiceover, while being compared and confused with SRK’s, won Aryan huge appreciation from several Bollywood celebrities. And it set the ball rolling for stories of him being ready to make his debut as an actor.
But PeepingMoon.com has confirmed that not only is Aryan not yet ready to break into films, but when he does – it won’t be in the South, and he hasn’t been offered a role by Gunasekhar in Hiranyakashipu. “This news is all bunk,” said the source who is closely connected to SRK. “Why would Aryan go South when his father’s Red Chillies Entertainment and godfather Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions are waiting for the right time to launch him?” True, that.
