Saif Ali Khan is on a roll. The actor, who begins 2020 playing the baddie in Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji, has an interesting line-up of films for the rest of the year. PeepingMoon.com has just learned that Saif has signed Raees director Rahul Dholakia's thriller that's bankrolled by Excel Entertainment. And, hold your breath, the film's about a strong bond between a father and daughter... but you will never believe who is playing Saif's daughter. It is Bollywood's new sensation - Ananya Panday!
The untitled film by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani is said to be an emotional flick with lot of thrilling elements. Saif and Ananya have already given their dates and are excited to kick off this film from April 2020 onwards. The official announcement from Excel Entertainment will be made in a week or two, PeepingMoon.com sources said.

That apart, Saif has already shot for Nitin Kakkar's Jawani Jaaneman, Ali Abbas Zafar's Amazon Prime show Tandav and Yash Raj Films' Bunty Aur Babli 2 that are all scheduled for release next year. Saif also has Pavan Kriplani's horror-comedy Bhoot Police (co-starring Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh) which will go on floors mid-January.
Saif just finished filming his extended cameo scenes for the Bunty Aur Babli sequel with Rani Mukerji and after his short break will dive into the world of horror with Bhoot Police. Ananya is busy shooting for Khaali Peeli with Ishaan Khattar and will start Shakun Batra's relationship-drama with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi in February-March 2020. Saif and Ananya will shoot Rahul Dholakia's film simultaneously with their other respective projects, the sources added.
