Deepika Padukone's and Vikrant Massey's highly anticipated film Chhapaak is all set to release in the next 48 hours. This Meghna Gulzar directorial that stars Deepika as Malti, an acid attack survivor who battles against the social evildoers, stands tall in the list of the highly anticipated films of the year. Now, as the release date is coming closer, the cast of Chhapaak has been keeping on their toes with promotions. Similarly, Meghna spoke to PeepingMoon.com about her inspiring film in an exclusive interview. In the conversation, the filmmaker, apart from delving deep into the film, revealed Deepika's reaction on watching it at a special preview.

Meghna told when she asked Deepika whether she lived up to her faith and was the end product worth the efforts, the 34-year-old actress said nothing but instead gave her a big hug, which was worth a thousand words. On asking whether Deepika's actor-husband Ranveer Singh has watched Chhapaak, Meghna said he is yet to experience it. She also stated that Deepika was her first and only choice.
