The mortal remains of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who committed suicide yesterday, will be consigned to the flames this evening at 5 o’clock at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile-Parle. Only eight members of his family have been permitted to attend the last rites.
The postmortem on Sushant’s body was conducted at 8 o’clock this morning at the Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital by a team of three doctors. It took two hours and was videographed. Details are awaited.
But a preliminary report said that prima facie the actor’s death appeared to be a case of suicide. His organs were sent to J. J. Hospital for toxicological analysis to see if there were any traces of poisonous substances.
