Television industry is gearing up to entertain their viewers once again. And PeepingMoon.com has good news for all the TV show fans! Ekta Kapoor is all set to start shooting of her show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2! PeepingMoon.com has exclusively learnt the producer has asked her team to resume shoot this weekend with the lead star cast – Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan.

A source revealed to PeepingMoon.com, “Ekta has asked her team to call back Parth to Mumbai. He is currently holidaying in Hyderabad and since the actor will have to be quarantined for few days after returning, the schedule has been planned accordingly. The team will shoot the first comeback promo post June 20 at Ekta Kapoor’s Killick Nixon Studio with Parth and Erica.”

A few days back, Erica had revealed to a leading website that she is scared of resuming the shoot and was not keen to return back to sets till the year end. "I am not embarrassed or ashamed of accepting the whole fact that I am scared of this situation. Some do not have the luxury of making a choice if they should get back to work or not. But, if you personally ask me, I am not up for it, not now at least, maybe a little later yes, and this is due to multiple reasons,” the actress had quoted. However, our source has confirmed that Erica has finally agreed to resume the shoot.

“Ekta has assured Erica that all the precautions will be taken and there is nothing to worry about on the set. She has sanitized her entire studio and made sure to follow each guideline issued by Maharashtra government. With a lot of producers demanding pay cut from the actors, Ekta has assured her starcast that she will not deduct their salaries. She has asked the team to be positive and start shooting. The team will shoot the comeback promo with Erica and Parth. Ekta will the announcement soon.”

Apparently, the first day of KZK 2’s shoot post lockdown will witness only 25 members on the sets. Amongst the huge starcast, only Erica and Parth will be present. The last episode of KZK2 was aired on March 23, after which the shooting was put on hold due to the Coronavirus lockdown.
