PeepingMoon Exclusive: Forensic experts checking ‘tensile strength’ of cloth that Sushant Singh Rajput used to commit suicide

Yesterday, the Cooper Hospital submitted Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem report to the Bandra police that is investigating the actor’s suicide of June 14. It concluded Sushant died of hanging. This was a clear case of suicide and no foul play was suspected, the report is believed to have said. However, this does not help the police to pinpoint why Sushant had to take the extreme step.

Now PeepingMoon.com has learned that Kalina Forensic Laboratory experts are reportedly urging the police to explore other theories as well into Sushant’s death. It is believed they are experimenting with tensile strength equipment to check if a person of Sushant’s weight could commit suicide by hanging himself with the cloth that was recovered from his bedroom in Mont Blanc Apartments. This is an unexpected development if suicide has already been ascertained.

The Kalina Forensic Laboratory is also investigating whether the actor was under the influence of any foreign substance like drugs or alcohol when he killed himself. A special team of toxicology experts constituted for the purpose is working on the chemical analysis of the actor’s viscera and vital organs to reach a conclusion in the investigation. They will reportedly take eight to ten days to submit a report to the police.
