The latest on the Bachchan family’s Covid-19 updates is that Aishwarya Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya will be treated at home. Both tested positive this morning and there was confusion over whether they had also been admitted to Nanavati Hospital along with Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek.

After the hospital denied this news, the BMC came forward to say that Aishwarya and Aaradhya would be treated at home and kept under self isolation. The mother and daughter are asymptomatic and will be tested again after five days.

However, the Bachchans are taking a second opinion from their family doctor whether home quarantine was safe for Aishwarya and Aaradhya, who is nine, or it would be better to admit them to hospital too. Meanwhile, Abhishek continues to show mild symptoms of the virus but is not suffering from breathlessness. Amitabh is in the Isolation Ward of the Nanavati Hospital and faring well too.
