On August 26, PeepingMoon.com exclusively informed its readers that actor Randeep Hooda had a major surgery at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. The actor was accompanied by his father. Randeep had undergone a surgery on his leg and he is currently under observation. He also underwent the mandatory rapid COVID-19 test and tested negative.
Now, PeepingMoon has the actor's exclusive photo from the hospital. Our sources informed, "It was a foot injury that happened a couple of years ago while he was playing polo. The surgery was carried out and it was a painful one which lasted for couple of hours."
Randeep's love for polo is no secret. The actor often promotes polo and brings it within the reach of those who do not have access to it. For the same, he had also teamed up with Col. Tarun Sirohi, a well known name in India’s polo circuit, to promote the sport and has established a facility at Golden Greens Golf Course in Gurgaon. The actor spends time playing polo whenever his hectic schedule allows him to. In one of such polo sessions, Randeep had gotten injured in his knee.
Randeep's father Ranbir Hooda had also given an update recently and said, “Thank you all for your concern. Randeep had a surgery yesterday, he’s recovering and will be discharged soon. He’s COVID 19 negative and the surgery went well so we will be able to take him home soon. The leg injury happened sometime ago. It flared up again recently and was causing him a lot of pain. That’s why he had to undergo this surgery.”
