A short while ago, PeepingMoon.com exclusively broke the news that Bollywood diva Malaika Arora had tested positive for Covid-19 and was home quarantined. Now we add to that with this sensational tidbit.
Actor Arjun Kapoor, who is believed to be in a relationship with Malaika, has also tested positive for Covid-19 and will be similarly home quarantined. It is unknown, however, whether the Bollywood couple are undergoing quarantine together in the diva’s Khar west residence.
While the actress, fashionista, model, filmmaker and TV celebrity is currently engaged as a judge on Sony’s dance reality show India’s Best Dancer along with Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis, Arjun was to begin shooting for Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain 2 soon with John Abraham, Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur and Tara Sutaria.
India’s Best Dancer resumed shoot post lockdown restrictions being eased for film and TV shoots. It is to be seen who replaces Malaika while she is on quarantine. Arjun meanwhile also has Kaashvie Nair’s untitled cross-border romcom with John, Aditi Rao Hydari and Rakul Preet Singh to look forward to and Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Moments after PeepingMoon informed its readers, Arjun, on Instagram, issued a statement that read, "It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I’m feeling ok and I’m asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities, and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you updated about my health in days to come. These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus. Much love, Arjun"
