The exciting festive story doing the rounds since this morning that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will be going to the Diwali party that Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are having tomorrow night at their warm and cozily-lit Juhu residence is not true at all.
Peeping Moon.com sources have reliably learned that the Kumars are not having any Diwali party this year followed by fireworks on the beach. It was never on the cards in the first place. So there’s no question of the party having being cancelled now, the sources added.
A quick call to Tinsel Town revealed that nobody in Bollywood had said that they were invited or confirmed they had RSVP’d their attendance to Akshay and Tina for a Diwali party tomorrow night.
But yet a section of the media hastily went to town with the news that Shilpa-Raj were definitely on Akshay-Twinkle’s guest list this year. And the paparazzi rubbed its hands in gleeful anticipation of the great photo-op tomorrow.
Neither Akshay nor Twinkle was available to confirm that their Diwali festivities did not include a party. Peeping Moon.com had reported in its breaking round-up of the Diwali parties in Bollywood this time that there was a big question mark hanging on Wednesday, October 18.

While the buzz was that the Kumars were throwing their doors open to the industry for one of their usual elegant dos, there was no confirmation of it coming from the Bollywood superstar and his columnist-author wife.
Now the question being asked is whether Akshay and Twinkle will attend the lavish card party that Shilpa and Raj are throwing at their Juhu residence on Thursday, October 19? Or will they go to the one Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are hosting at the same time at nephew Imran Khan’s Pali Hill bungalow?
Sources revealed to Peeping Moon.com that while nobody knows anything for sure, it seems more than likely that the Kumars will be going to Pali Hill on the 19th Diwali night if they are in the mood to celebrate. Akshay Kumar is not a party animal, but Twinkle and Aamir are old friends, and it makes sense to wish the actor good luck also on the eve of his Diwali release Secret Superstar.
