Bollywood's multi-faceted talent Neeraj Vora, an actor, writer and director known for his humorous and happy streak on and off the screen, gave the industry one of its cult classic cinema in the comedy genre - the Hera Pheri. The first film in one of the longest running series was released in 2000, starring the eccentric trio Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal who find themselves trapped in crazy shenanigans including hilarious bits from Rawal himself.
Following its ginormous success, Vora spawned a sequel in 2006 Phir Hera Pheri only to leave us wanting for more! The filmmaker passed away last year in December months after being comatose, however, his legacy continues.

PeepingMoon.com has exclusively learnt Hera Pheri 3 is in the works starring the ensemble and comically hilarious cast including Akshay, Suniel, and Paresh who shall reprise their iconic characters of Raju, Ghanshyam and Baburao along withothers. While Neeraj was to direct the third installment, but uncertainty loomed large over the project after he suffered a stroke in October 2016. Taking over the reigns would be filmmaker Indra Kumar, as the director of the upcoming comedy.
The film will be produced by Firoz Nadiadwala and is expected to go on floors in January 2019. Apparently, besides Akshay, Suniel and Paresh other members from the first installment could possibly make it to the cut. Thus, it won't be much of a surprise if we see Tabu, Gulshan Grover and others featuring in the sequel.
Earlier, talking on the lines of Hera Pheri 3, Suniel Shetty had shared, “We must make it (part 3) for fans… I believe he (Neeraj) is doing better now. Once he is fit, we will roll out the film.” But with Neeraj gone, we believe the sequel should definitely be made, not just for the fans, but for its creator himself!
