Salman Khan's Race 3 on June 29th in Pakistan?

There is some bad news for Pakistani fans of actor Salman Khan. The superstar's Eid release Race 3 will not be releasing on Eid but two weeks later. The reason being a circular issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of Pakistan which has imposed restriction on the exhibition of Indian films during the two Eids. The restriction shall be two days before Eid and two weeks after Eid days.

A source from Pakistan said that Race 3 will now be releasing in Pakistan on June 29 which is the official release date of Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju.

While some say that delayed release of Race 3 will not affect the business of the film in Pakistan territory but there are others who think piracy will affect the prospects of the film in Pakistan.

Distributor Mahesh Ramanathan who has been an overseas distributor said that if a Salman Khan starrer does not release on the same day and date the business loss could be about Rs 4cr.

Fortunately, Ekta Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding will release on the same day as its release in India.
