Here’s a scoop! It’s not true that Karan Johar’s next film will bring the classy filmmaker together again with his most loved onscreen jodi – Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Media reports have been raging over the last two days that the trio which gave Bollywood some of its most memorable hits – Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name is Khan – is teaming up for a script that KJo is currently working on. Reports suggest that while nothing is official and on paper yet, he is believed to have narrated the story to SRK and Kajol, and both the actors are keen on working with KJo again.
This rumour gained currency after Karan, Shah Rukh and Kajol met at the recent engagement ceremony of Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani and posed for a picture that KJo put on Instagram saying, “Years of love... years of movies... memories forever... @kajol @iamsrk.” The picture stirred up the story that KJo was indeed bringing SRK and Kajol together again for a Dharma Productions project. The actors were last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale in December 2016. However, PeepingMoon.com has learned that this is not going to be KJo’s next film.
