Actress-writer Sonali Bendre Behl recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with a "high-grade cancer" and is undergoing treatment in New York. Her health condition forced her to step down as the judge of a reality TV show India's Best Dramebaaz. In a conversation with PeepingMoon.com, her co-judge Vivek Oberoi revealed how she would keep complaining of pain in the arm, and some tests led to an unexpected diagnosis. Vivek, a childhood friend of Sonali's husband Goldie Behl, urged all her fans to pray for the actress' speedy recovery and that she joins the show soon.

Following Sonali's exit, actress Huma Qureshi has stepped into her shoes. The Jolly LLB 2 starlet tells us that if there is anyone who can fight the battle is Sonali herself. Qureshi has complete faith that the Hum Saath Saath Hain star will come back very soon! Director Omung Kumar, on the other hand, revealed that he wasn't aware of the reason behind Sonali's exit from the show he co-judged with her until he was approached by a radio channel asking about the news of Sonali's cancer. However, he does believe that Sonali would recover from it.

Earlier in July, Sonali took to Twitter and Instagram to share the news about her health. She thanked her family and friends for supporting her. She is currently undergoing treatment in New York and is determined to fight the disease and come out healthier.
