Was never made to feel like a newcomer: Aisha Sharma on working with John and Manoj

Model Aisha Sharma is all geared up for her Bollywood debut in Satyameva Jayate opposite John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee. During the course of an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, Aisha, who is the younger sister of Crook fame actress Neha Sharma, was asked about her experience of working with John and an accomplished actor like Manoj. To this, Aisha said, “As a co-star John makes you feel at ease. I am a complete tomboy but during the shoot of romantic scenes, he helped a lot. I was never made to feel like a newcomer. Manoj sir has the most whacky sense of humour off screen, so it’s a delight to work with him. To get a chance to share the screen with Manoj sir in your first film is a big deal. I wasn’t intimidated by them. It was exciting to work with both of them. They didn’t make me feel like it was my first film.”

On the other hand, when Aisha was asked about her dream role she named Angelina Jolie’s iconic character Lara Croft as a character she would love to portray. She also mentioned Kangana Ranaut’s character in Queen as one performance she would love to do.

Aisha also spoke about the message that her film Satyameva Jayate gives to women – the message to get up and fight and not be a victim anymore.

Satyameva Jayate also stars Marathi actress Amruta Khanvilkar and will release on August 15, locking horns with Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy’s Gold at the box office.
