Priyanka and Nick first set tongues wagging when they arrived at last year’s Met Gala together, dressed in Ralph Lauren creations. Jimmy Kimmel even took a dig at their age difference (she is 36, he is 25), on his show and asked Priyanka, “Are you dating Nick Jonas? Isn't he like, 11 years old?"

Priyanka, not one to take things lying down gave a befitting reply and said, “We were both wearing Ralph Lauren and we decided to go together. It was fun. I didn't ask his age. Eleven?” She added, “We were on the same table and we already know each other. So he was like 'Hey, you wanna go together?' And I was like 'Yeah, okay, let's go together.' It ended up working out."

And we must say it certainly did because Priyanka stole the show with her long trail trench coat gown at the Met Gala 2017 and Nick looked dapper in his suit. Apparently, it was Priyanka’s Quantico co-star Graham Rogers who had actually introduced them. Nick revealed in an interview, “We met up like in New York the first time and the same day I think we found out that we are both going to the MET gala with Ralph Lauren. And as strange as it sounds but we couldn't have planned it. We just had a great time. She's a lovely person and I'm dying now to go to India.”

The Met Gala rumours were laid to rest when nothing much followed their appearance. However, the rumour mills went on overdrive this year when they spent the Memorial Day weekend with each other. They also attended the Beauty and the Beast Live concert at the Hollywood Bowl on May 25. They did not indulge in any obvious PDA and snuck out as soon as the show ended. On May 26, 2018, Priyanka and Nick went to a Los Angeles Dodgers game together, where they cheered for the City of Angels' home team.
