Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their relationship official today with the Roka ceremony that took place at the former's Mumbai residence this morning. Apparently, Priyanka's mom couldn't hold back her tears looking at her daughter. She remembered her husband and Priyanka's father, late Dr. Ashok Chopra, who would've been thrilled to see her daughter getting married to the love of her life. "With a teary smile on Madhu ji's face, the Roka rituals took place at Priyanka's Mumbai residence. Post the puja, Madhu Chopra blessed the newly engaged couple and wished them well. When Nick took blessings from her to-be mother-in-law, she enveloped him in a warm, motherly hug," shared the source.

When previously asked about her take on Priyanka's marriage, Madhu Chopra stated that communication is the key to a successful marriage. She insisted that a couple should sit and discuss their problems instead of arguing or giving the silent treatment and any partner should be competent to take care of their significant other in sickness and in health. According to PeeCee's mom, marriage has to be worked on every day and these teachings and ideals have been instilled in her daughter since the very beginning.
