We hate to be the carrier of bad news, but there’s a disturbing rumour doing the rounds of Bollywood, and it’s to do with Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon who are reportedly in a relationship and were looking to take it further. The buzz is that they have split. Or are on the verge of separating.

The good-looking couple, who was seen together in Dinesh Vijan’s Raabta last year, is believed to have called time on their relationship. It is being said that Kriti called it off for unexplained reasons. However, we are hoping that Sushant and Kriti are just on a break. And distance is the main factor for this. Sushant’s in Jamshedpur busy with Kizie Aur Manny. And Kriti’s in London shooting for Housefull 4. Both actors are said to be concentrating on their careers at the time. But sources say there is more than this reason behind why the relationship is believed to have gone bust.

Ironically, if the rumour is true, it comes just when Bollywood was abuzz with the news that Sushant and Kriti were to act in Nitesh Tiwari’s next film (Dangal fame). Her role is believed to have been offered first to Jacqueline Fernandez and after that Shraddha Kapoor. Nobody knows what will happen to that film now. There was also talk of Sushant and Kriti being in the Canadian entertainment giant Lionsgate Television’s Hindi remake of the 1987 Hollywood cult film Dirty Dancing because both are skilled dancers and were top contenders for the lead roles. But that collaboration also now seems uncertain.

This news of the breakup comes just when Bollywood was beginning to think that after the Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja wedding and before Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot, the B-Town couple most likely to walk the aisle this year was Kriti and Sushant. The families are said to have met and approved of each other, too. And talk of their taking their relationship further came after Kriti and Sushant brought in New Year at Switzerland.
