After Malaika-Arjun in Milan, it’s Arbaaz-Giorgia in Indore!

If Malaika Arora had Bollywood raising its collective eyebrow by celebrating her 45^th birthday last week in Milan with (now more or less confirmed) boyfriend Arjun Kapoor, then her ex-husband is sure to have Bollywood’s tongue wagging because Arbaaz Khan took his new girlfriend, the Italian actress Giorgia Andriani, to the Khan family’s ancestral home in Indore yesterday.

Arbaaz, who moved on before Malaika after their 19-year marriage ended in divorce, is believed to have taken his gorgeous girlfriend to father Salim Khan’s home in Indore to meet the extended family living there. This ancestral property known as Khan Compound is in the Indore suburb Palasia. According to the Indore tabloid First Print which exclusively reported this sighting, Giorgia took blessings of the elders living there while Arbaaz mixed freely with fans and locals who quickly gathered to get an eyeful of the Italian beauty.

Choosing to familiarly move around Palasia on foot rather than drive, Arbaaz and Giorgia then had lunch with his Uncle Abdul Naim Khan and his family. Arbaaz’s visit with the girlfriend in tow is surprising because it is believed that Salim Khan no longer enjoys cordial relations with the Khans of Indore. Either Arbaaz wanted the elders’ blessings for his relationship with Giorgia or he was showing his lady love the family’s origins.

Bollywood will wonder at this because just a couple of days ago, while the media speculated freely whether his relationship with Giorgia was heading towards marriage, Arbaaz had irritably reacted, “I don’t know from where people get this kind of information about whom I am dating or not dating. They shouldn’t speculate about anyone’s personal life.” This, at a time when the 51-year-old Arbaaz is openly seen at family functions, private dinners and on social media with the 29-year-old Giorgia and they give the impression of being a happily-in-love couple.
