The breaking news on Sooryavanshi is that the most awaited film of 2020-21 is likely to release on single screens only (not multiplexes) and OTT. Buzz is that April 2  has been set as a tentative deadline for its release. PeepingMoon.com has learned, however, that if the ongoing and acrimonious talks between the film’s producers and the multiplex owners don’t work out, then Akshay Kumar’s much-anticipated cop drama can come out before April 2 too.

The producers of the film, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Reliance Entertainment, are reportedly weary of the talks with the multiplex owners. And the mood is that if they don’t agree to walk the middle path, then Sooryavanshi will have a theatrical release at single screens only. It will also go the OTT way simultaneously. Fans of Akshay and Katrina Kaif, also of Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh who have action cameos in Sooryavanshi, have got their fingers crossed.
