Ranveer-Deepika to tie the knot in Villa del Balbianello and it has a Star Wars connect

Hold your horses. No, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are not going to be a part of the iconic film series in the last three decades, Star Wars, but the two have certainly found a common connection with the epic space opera franchise that began in 1977 and quickly became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon.

PeepingMoon.com has found out that Deepika and Ranveer, who are all set to walk down the aisle on November 14 and 15 in Italy, will reportedly be taking their wedding vows at the picturesque Villa del Balbianello overlooking Lake Como. Interestingly, many feature films have used the villa for location shooting, including A Month by the Lake (1995), Casino Royale (2006). But the villa grabbed the maximum eyeballs when it was used for the lake retreat scenes in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones (2002), showcasing Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala wedding sequence.

Now that we have revealed the reported destination of the DeepVeer's wedding, let's take a quick tour of the magnificent villa, famous of its elaborate terraced gardens, located on the western shore of the south-west branch of Lake Como. The tall plane trees combined with classical statues make it an incredible destination for couples who wish to wed.
