I don't know how to put it in words, I am very sad and broken. I would just want God to bless his soul and may his soul rest in peace. He did a lot of work and I had a very deep connection and good relation with him. He used to do his work with full dedication and do a lot of shows. He loved singing and he was very hardworking."

When asked about how he got in touch with Mohammed Ji first, Anu Malik revealed, "I had given him the biggest chance. The film was Mard, the song was Mardtange Wala. This was Manmohan Desai's film and he used to love Rafi Sahab and he was in search of someone with a similar voice and I had heard about Mohammed Aziz Ji. So I remember I went in search of him and it was around 2-3am and he used to live in a stable. I remember that night, I headed out in search of him and I did not have his phone number or address. I finally found him and I told him that I am Anu Malik and I am doing a film called Mard so I would like you to sing for me. And he got very happy and hugged me saying that Sir you came this far looking for me so late at night. I told him that your voice is very delightful and then we had a meeting and I got him on board. So I remember this incident."

"He went really early, he was only 64 and if you notice all good singers pass away at an early age. Rifik Sahab and Kishore Da also passed away very early. Mukesh Ji too." Anu added.
