No, it is not Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla who will be dressing Priyanka Chopra up, the Bollywood crossover-Hollywood returnee will be donning a Punjabi bridal trousseau from ace celebrity designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her big fat Punjabi wedding. Earlier reports suggested PeeCee would be seen in Abu-Sandeep couture. She has always been a fan of the duo designer. For her Roka ceremony, Priyanka had opted for an AJSK traditional outfit. But now there’s good news for all SabyaxPriyanka fans.

The designer has flown to Jodhpur to dress the bride himself! That apart, Sabyasachi who is known for his 'bride-groom' collection will also be dressing Nick Jonas as a royal Indian groom.

CHRISTIAN WEDDING
For her Christian wedding, Priyanka will be wearing a Ralph Lauren gown. The actress made the revelation to a leading fashion glossy. Ralph Lauren, it must be remembered, has only designed bridal wear for his daughter and niece before this. The magazine also stated that Ralph himself took the sketches to Priyanka to finalize her wedding attire.

SANGEET CEREMONY
Priyanka will mostly be wearing an ensemble from the AJSK wedding collection for her grand Sangeet ceremony. The designer duo is known for their chikankari handwork mostly on shades of white, gold and silver which are not suitable for a quintessential Punjabi bride.
Two other actresses, Sonam K Ahuja and Deepika Padukone, also wore AJSK outfits, but not on their wedding day. Sonam chose AJSK for her Sangeet whereas Deepika donned it for her Mumbai reception party. In the past, Priyanka has also favoured other Indian designers like Anamika Khanna, Manish Malhotra and Prabal Gurung. Who will make the cut as her Sangeet designer is something to look forward to.

Even though Nick is new to Indian customs and traditions, the American singer has adopted all of it pretty well. Nick was seen wearing a Manish Malhotra kurta pyjama for his pre-wedding Puja on Wedsnday. So looks like Manish will dress Nick up for his Sangeet party as well.
