Exclusive: Criminal’s corpse allegedly found on Aamir Khan’s mango farm in UP!

The phone call reportedly came from the Akhtiyarpur village police station 40 km outside Shahabad city in UP’s Hardoi district. But Aamir Khan was not at home to take it. His mother, Zeenat Hussain, is believed to have answered it. And she was shocked to be told by the UP police that the corpse of a notorious history-sheeter had allegedly been found in the actor’s ancestral property at Akhtiyarpur.

Aamir, who is taking a quiet break after the debacle of his Diwali release Thugs of Hindostan at the box office, reportedly has a 25-acre plot in Akhtiyarpur village on which grow mangoes and grapes. The plot is being looked after by a caretaker. The property on this land includes an old farmhouse that has fallen to ruin with neglect. Aamir is not believed to have ever visited this place.

His team reportedly got in touch with the Mumbai Police and informed them about the mysterious call from their UP counterparts. They requested the Mumbai cops to find out if this was a genuine call or whether somebody was playing a prank on the actor. The Mumbai Police responded and soon found out that a bona fide officer of the Akhtiyarpur police had, indeed, called to inform the family of the corpse that was recovered from their property.

According to UP police sources, the corpse is allegedly that of a criminal called Salim alias Chachu who had been missing for a while. How it turned up on Aamir’s farmhouse and who discovered it there is not known. It is believed that the actor’s father, the film producer Tahir Hussain, used to live there at one time. Beyond that nothing is known about the Akhtiyarpur property and whether the mangoes and grapes grown there are sold commercially in the Shahabad market
